The ancient Chinese practice of feng shui is gaining popularity in the Western world. The practice of feng shui creates a balance in an environment to make it ideal for living. This is why feng shui has gotten a lot of attention especially when it comes to home decoration.
Here are some feng shui tips that you can use to fill your home with positive energy.
Doors and Chi
Let us start with your doors. The doorway should be free from clutter. Remove the slippers or shoes that are lying around in your doorway. In feng shui, “chi” or positive energy, flows with the wind and as it enters your door, it will bring with it the smell and dirt from the slippers and shoes into your home. The Chinese believe that this can cause sickness.

Water
In feng shui, water is the repository of chi or positive energy. This is why you should have a water feature in your home so you can keep positive energy inside. The absence of a water feature like an aquarium or water fountain would mean the chi going out of the house.
You just have to take note, however, that water features must be placed in the right areas because placing it in the wrong area would mean attracting negative energies.
The positioning of water elements in your home is very important because putting these elements in the wrong places could bring in bad luck.
Feng Shui in your Kitchen
Your refrigerator should not be opposite your stove because these appliances stand for fire and water and putting them in opposite each other mean that they clash. Clashing fire and water elements will result to frequent disagreements at home. This also goes for the stove being opposite the washbasin or the washing machine.
Feng Shui in your Living Room
Marble and red in the living room are not good ideas from a feng shui point of view. Marble can bring pressure at work and to cope, you can either try your way through the pressure or remove the marble table and replace it with a wooden one. The color red is not a good color for the living room. Red, which symbolizes fire in feng shui, brings pressure, obstacles and problems.
These are just some feng shui tips that you can apply to your home to make it attract positive energy. qskjbs287
